I'm Going to New Orleans !

Well, I just got off the phone with the contractors who were hired by FEMA to do most of the debris removal from New Orleans and the Lake Charles area. They want me down there by Friday at 9:00 in the morning. They have hired me on for 30 days, but say there is so much debris to remove, we might be down there until Mardi Gras. I gotta get steel toed shoes, over-alls, and they said I'll have to get a tetanus shot before I can start working. It's gonna be rough work. No days off and 12 hour days. I just hope I won't be too tired to have a little drink on Bourbon street *wink*. I got to get a cell phone, ATM card, and try to find an airline that goes into New Orleans or Baton Rouge. They guy told me it's gonna be difficult to find flights. I guess I can always drive down there. It's like 14 hours straight thru from Chicago. I don't know how I am going update this while I am down there, but I guess I'll just have to see. Talk to you all later.
